Boris was born and raised in Panama City, Republic of Panama.  He has lived in Southern California since 1980, and makes San Clemente, Orange County his residence.  He is happily married to his wife Jill, with whom he enjoys life to the fullest.  He has a Bachelors Degree in Human Biology, with an emphasis in Anatomy and a Doctors of Chiropractic Degree.   He is a graduate of UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, Executive Education Department, of the Leadership Institute for Managers with Disabilities, and of the Board of Directors Education and Certification Program.

As a Doctor of Chiropractic, Boris practiced successfully for 16 years, dividing time between his Santa Ana and San Clemente offices until 2006, when he suffered a spinal cord injury from a motorcycle accident.  Currently, he maintains an active license status as a Doctor of Chiropractic by fulfilling yearly continuing education and relicensing requirements.  He is also a part time clinician at his San Clemente office.  Boris has served as Vice President of the Orange County Chiropractic Association, and as a Member of its Board of Directors.  In addition, he gained international exposure as an invited speaker to the Department of Health of the Republic of Panama, as a Health Care Delivery Systems expert.

Post injury, Boris has served in the Board of Directors of SEED Business Network, a non-profit organization that provides resources and consulting services to people with disabilities who are starting or running a small business.  In 2010, he was selected as a Health Care Delegate to the National Council on Disabilities (NCD) Convention in Washington D.C. in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Presently, he is the President and CEO of VRBiztools, Inc., a subscription service software company, designed to help people with disabilities become self employed. He enjoys domestic and international traveling, and plans to write contributing articles on disabled traveling for a travel newsletter.
